A realistic end-to-end range is roughly 1 to 3 years, from the moment you decide to register to the day you start treating patients. What drives that range is mostly exam-place availability and the job and visa steps, not the exams themselves.

Getting your UK ENIC statement takes up to about 15 working days. Alongside your English test and gathering your documents, this whole stage tends to run 1 to 3 months.
The exams
Several months to a year or more
The exams themselves are short. The wait comes from limited exam places, which means the gap between parts can stretch from a few months to over a year, depending on availability.
Registration, job and visa
Varies
After you pass there is GDC registration processing, then finding a sponsored job and, if you need one, a visa. For visas the Home Office aims to decide within about three weeks.
